The University of Avila offers a range of scholarships to help international students manage their tuition fees. Some key scholarships include:
Outside scholarships refer to financial aid received from sources other than Avila University, the State of Missouri, or the federal government. These scholarships may come from companies, foundations, religious or civic organizations, and employer tuition benefits. Since outside scholarships contribute to covering college expenses, they must be reported to the Financial Aid Office, as they can impact a student's overall financial aid eligibility.
In compliance with state and federal regulations, adjustments to other financial aid may be necessary. If modifications are required, need-based loans or work-study funds will be reduced first before any gift aid, such as need-based scholarships or grants, is affected.
