Admission Requirements for International Students

Admission requirements vary based on the level of study. Here are the general criteria:

·       English Proficiency Requirement: For UG and PG programs, accepted English tests include IELTS (5.0 for UG, 6.0 for PG), PTE (46 for UG, 56 for PG), TOEFL (46 for UG, 80 for PG), Duolingo (95 for UG, 105 for PG), and language Cert (B1 for UG, B2 for PG). Cambridge exams (CAE/CPE) are also accepted with a minimum score of 169 for PG. Online versions of these tests are accepted.

·       English Proficiency Requirement for Doctorate Degree: English proficiency is required with an IELTS score of 7.0 (no less than 6.0 in any component) or equivalent. It can be waived for native speakers, those who studied in English, or applicants with an English-taught degree. WAEC with a C6 in English can also meet the requirement for applicants from certain West African countries.

·       Academics Requirement for Undergraduate: To qualify for higher education in Germany, you must have a recognized school leaving certificate. If you do not meet the academic criteria, applicants with relevant professional qualifications or at least 4 years of full-time work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

·       Academic Requirement for Postgraduate: A recognized undergraduate degree is required. If academic qualifications are not met, relevant work experience will be considered, with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.

·       Academic Requirement for Doctorate Degree: Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or a master’s/Level 7 qualification, or an MBA. Those with significant executive experience may also apply, subject to an entrance test and interview. A research proposal, including topic, objectives, methodology, and initial literature review, is also required.

Available for February, May/July, and October intakes, the awards include one full (100%) scholarship and multiple partial scholarships (50%, 40%, and 20%).
